The featured art of today is by Studio Fludd, a young Italian collective from Venice. It consists of 5 creative souls, Caterina, Clara, Sara, Matteo and Valeria.

“We have a passion for the matter and materials, perhaps it’s for this that we tell unlikely stories about relationships with the English alchemist Robert Fludd.
From friendships at school, united by aesthetic harmonies, we we joined together, believing in the complementarity of skills and temperaments. So far we have ventured into projects ranging from illustration to graphic design, printing art to decoration of walls, to small carpentry works to realize little projects of self-design.
We are looking for a quality of doing, studying ‘the ancients’ and trying to cultivate our blog as a space for visual effervescence, where we also host little interviews with other European creative peers.
In addition to a stand on Etsy, we have just opened an e-shop of our own, full of spring products. We hope you enjoy!”
Over and above to my infinite love for wood as a material, I’m fascinated by the particular use these artists do of colors and shapes. The spring collection is amazing, and I’m excited to see more!

“Abbiamo una passione per la materia e i materiali, forse per questo raccontiamo in giro parentele con l’alchimista inglese Robert Fludd.
Da amicizie sui banchi di scuola, uniti da sintonie estetiche, ci siamo aggregati credendo nella complementarietà di temperamenti e competenze. Finora ci siamo cimentati in progetti che vanno dall’illustrazione alla grafica, dalla stampa d’arte alla decorazione di muri, fino alla falegnameria spicciola per realizzare piccoli progetti di design autoprodotto.
Ricerchiamo una qualità del fare, studiando ‘gli antichi’ e cerchiamo di coltivare il nostro blog come spazio di effervescenza visiva, dove ospitiamo anche piccole interviste a creativi europei nostri coetanei.
Oltre ad una bancarella su Etsy, abbiamo aperto or ora un e-shop tutto nostro, carico di prodotti primaverili. Speriamo vi piacciano!”
Oltre al mio infinito amore per il legno come materiale, sono affascinata dall’uso particolare che questi artisti fanno del colore e delle forme. La loro collezione primaverile è stupenda, e sono curiosa di vedere che altro hanno in serbo!
