Chairs with an handmade touch

Englishtile11 Chairs with an handmade touch

Awwww! Chairs chairs chairs! I like chairs. And when they’re so particular and original, become a design element that can change the style and atmosphere of an entire room.

This one is the stunning work of Jane Schouten from All The Luck In The World.
I already talked about this fabulous woman in a previous post about repurposed vessels (wonderful!).

I’m always fascinated by Jane’s creativity. In her own post you can admire other wonderful re-covered chairs and stools.

Ani Castillo2 Chairs with an handmade touch

This one has been hand-drawn by Ani Castillo. Take a look on that link guys, ’cause Ani’s illustrations and drawings are fantastic.

Chairs by Graça Paz lifestyle atelier xt

Super colorful chairs by Graça Paz. I LOVE them! They remind me the gypsy roulottes by Jeanne Bayol and  Jean Marie Marechal. I’m in love with this tzigane style and I really have fun creating little corners like this in my home,  I should take some picture to show you :)

Other great drawing on white chair by tixinda on flickr. An absolute lovely doodle style.

1. The first is a collab by Heather Moore of skinnylaminx and Dan Saks.
2. I found the second in the Rachel S R1’s flickr page.
3. Painted chair + bunny are handmade by Holiday Jenny.
4. Painted by Billi Kid.
5. Hand paint work by Quieroesasilla.
6. Drawing by eyeformation.

It’s been a while that I think about it, I have a couple of chairs that I absolutely want to re-cover and paint!
Have you ever done some handmade work on a chair? If yes, please leave the link in the comment! I’d love to see!

Awwww! Sedie sedie sedie!

Questo è un meraviglioso lavoro di Jane Schouten di All The Luck In The World.

Ani Castillo2 Chairs with an handmade touch

tixinda Chairs with an handmade touch
